FastTT Aerobars Shine at Inaugural Gold Coast T100
The inaugural Gold Coast T100 delivered an electric weekend of racing, and FastTT carbon aerobars were right in the mix with standout age-group results.
Brisbane’s Andrew Nash claimed a thrilling overall age-group victory, storming to the win in 3:34:05. He made his decisive move in the final two kilometres of the run, showing incredible strength and composure in his first T100.
Nash credited his FastTT aerobars for playing a key role:
“Since upgrading to the FastTT aerobars, my position on the bike has felt dialled in, comfortable and easy to sustain. The bars are well designed, offer plenty of adaptability and support, which makes holding an aero position feel natural instead of something you’re constantly fighting.”
His performance was backed by strong local support, with fellow Brisbane athlete Glenn Strutt (graduate of the Bike Fit Academy) securing 3rd place overall in the age-group field with a time of 3:36:00.
In the women’s age-group race, Chelsea Seymour powered to an impressive 2nd place with a time of 4:01:38. She led the swim and posted the fastest bike split in her category, staying competitive right into the late stages of the 18km run.
These results align with what so many professional and age-group triathletes are experiencing with FastTT: the ability to stay lower and more comfortable for longer without the usual struggle. Independent testing by Slowtwitch recently named the FastTT as the world’s most comfortable aerobars, and podium performances like these continue to prove the real-world difference they make.
Whether you’re chasing age-group glory or simply want to ride more efficiently on long training days, the FastTT carbon aerobars deliver the comfort, adaptability, and aero performance serious triathletes need.
